About the festival
The Eui-joon Brothers Festival is a family-oriented cultural festival that modernly reinterprets the values of brotherhood, sharing, and consideration based on the Eui-joon Brothers folklore passed down in Daeheung-myeon, Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. The festival features experiential programs utilizing storytelling from the Eui-joon Brothers fairy tale, traditional games, family participation events, cultural performances, and a market for local food and agricultural specialties, designed to allow people of all ages to experience the region's history and culture and understand the values of community. Nearby the festival venue are representative tourist facilities of Yesan-gun, such as the Yedang-Lake Chulreongda-ri and the Yedang-Lake Monorail, making it a representative cultural tourism festival of Yesan-gun where local culture and tourism can be experienced together.
