About the festival
Wanju County's representative festival, 'Wanju Wild & Local Food Festival', is a festival that anyone can enjoy, where you can experience unique wild (WILD) experiences that you cannot encounter in everyday life and meet healthy local (LOCAL) food in the clean nature of Wanju. The 2026 festival will feature the slogan 'Burning Rough Wilderness' with representative programs such as burning oven-grilled dishes, local bushcraft, potato samgut, and large events themed around fire, as well as nature-themed wild playgrounds like Sirangcheon Water Play, local meals prepared with care by chefs from 13 towns and villages, direct market for agricultural specialties, and a wild Wafu EDM music party, allowing you to experience nostalgia, escapism, and healing all at once in the autumn atmosphere.
