About the festival

Museom Village is a traditional village with the Korean name 'Mulsu-ri', meaning an island floating on water. The unique scenery, where the clear waters of the Naeseongcheon River embrace the village along with the silver sandy beach, hosts the Museom Oenamuda-ri Festival in October. Along with traditional wedding and funeral procession reenactments that capture the life and sorrows of the villagers, visitors can enjoy the Oenamuda-ri performance and barefoot walking on Museom Beach. Additionally, various side programs such as the parade and Museom healing rope experience add to the excitement. A one-day poetry contest where visitors can participate, a national photography contest, and a stamp tour will also be held, allowing for special memories.
