About the festival
The Gwangju Seochang Eulalia Festival is an urban ecological festival held every October along the banks of the Yeongsan River. It is a festival where visitors can enjoy the autumn atmosphere while walking along the silver eulalia paths and the sunset views of the Seochang fields, one of the eight scenic spots in Seo-gu. The 11th Gwangju Seochang Eulalia Festival, themed 'A Journey into Autumn with Silver Eulalia', will take place from October 15 to 18, 2026, at the Yeongsan River Bicycle Path Annae-Center. The festival will feature various experiential content that combines walking and sound, including melodious eulalia paths, an SG Eulalia Field Lounge with LP music, soundscapes, and the creation of a Sorisanchaekji-do. Additionally, programs that visitors can participate in directly, such as 'Find the Hyusik-King', 'Sunset 530', and 'Eulalia Exploration Team', as well as the 2026 Gwangju Seochang Eulalia Sunset Marathon and walking programs with pets, will be organized. This is a representative autumn ecological festival of Seo-gu, Gwangju, designed to allow visitors to enjoy relaxation and experiences in nature, centered around eulalia, sunsets, music, and walking.
