About the festival
The 2026 Yangjae Flower Festa is a floral culture festival held from October 16 to October 18, 2026, at Yangjae Flower Market. The event is designed to allow visitors to see and experience various flowers and floral content through exhibitions, hands-on experiences, stage programs, and participatory events. Major programs include a new variety showcase introducing new varieties such as roses, spray chrysanthemums, gerberas, lisianthus, and orchids, a florist artwork exhibition, one-day classes using flowers, children's florist and horticultural therapy career experiences, a children's flower painting program, and a flower talk concert. Additionally, the festival features a 'Ugly Flower, Beautifully Made' experience program that creates pressed flower crafts using flowers that may be discarded due to low marketability, a stamp tour that allows participants to explore various areas of the venue, and an SNS participation event. The festival is organized to enable visitors of various generations to appreciate flowers and engage with floral culture through direct experiences.
