About the festival
The "2026 14th Yeonsu Neungheodae Cultural Festival" is a large cultural festival that inherits the spirit of challenge and enterprise of the ancient Baekje envoys who set sail from Neungheodae, sharing this spirit with the residents of Yeonsu-gu today. The event includes the "Baekje Envoy Parade" representing Yeonsu-gu, various programs involving community participation, as well as the Community Day award ceremony, performances by popular artists, fireworks, and a variety of joint activities and experience booths, bringing unique enjoyment to the Neungheodae Festival. This year, a special highlight will be the largest drone light show in history, featuring over 2,000 drones weaving patterns in the night sky. With the theme "Neungheodae, Voyage of Light," it will reinterpret the maritime exchange history continued by ancient Neungheodae and the significance of global navigation towards the world through cutting-edge media technology, showcasing a magnificent spectacle of light.
