About the festival
The Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival is an autumn festival themed around the wealth energy of 'Sotbawi', a representative attraction of Uiryeong. Located in the middle of the Namgang River, Sotbawi has a legend that states, ''A great wealthy person is born within a radius of 20 li around Sotbawi.'' In fact, the founders of Samsung, LG, and Hyosung were born in this area, making the wealth legend of Sotbawi an even more special story. Uiryeong-gun has been hosting the Rich Rich Festival since 2022 to share the unique stories and good energy of the region with tourists. This year's festival, marking its 5th edition, will showcase a variety of experiences, performances, and family programs where visitors can directly feel and enjoy the wealth energy of Sotbawi.
