About the festival
The 2026 Korean Confucian Culture Festival is hosted by Chungcheongnam-do and Nonsan-si and organized by the Korean Confucian Culture Promotion Agency. 'Chung·Hyo·Ye, Becoming My Daily Life' is the theme that connects the core values of traditional Confucianism with the daily lives of modern people through performances·exhibitions·Experience·Education·This is an event presented through academic programs. It will be held from September 18 to 20, 2026, at the Korean Confucian Culture Promotion Center and in the Noseong-myeon area of Nonsan-si, featuring an opening ceremony, Chungcheong Spirit declaration ceremony, humanities book concert, K-Confucian International Forum, performances, exhibitions, and family activities.·Youth participation competitions and experience programs will be operated. It is designed to allow various generations and classes, including children, families, youth, young adults, foreigners, and local residents, to participate, aiming to understand and share the values of tradition in today's life through programs that allow experiencing the local Confucian cultural assets and lifestyle.
