About the festival
The 'Geumcheon Siheunghaeng Palace Cultural Festival' is a representative historical and cultural festival of Geumcheon-gu that embodies the historical identity and cultural artistic significance of Geumcheon-gu. The [2026 Geumcheon Siheunghaeng Palace Cultural Festival] begins with Part 1 'Haenghaeng Celebration', which expresses the excited hearts of residents waiting for the royal procession. In Part 2, it showcases the 'Jeongjodae-King's Royal Procession' in connection with Seoul-si, depicting the scene of Jeongjodae-King visiting the tomb of his father, Crown Prince Sado. The final Part 3 features a variety of programs, including the specialized content 'Siheunghaeng Night', which consists of 'Traditional Music Enjoyed by Everyone' in line with Jeongjo's spirit of benevolence, making it a festival where all residents can enjoy together.
