About the festival
The '2026 Pohang Haetteu-myeon Noodle Festival' is a gourmet festival held at the Arakwangjang in Guryongpo, Homiban-do, where the sun rises first in South Korea. The festival name 'Haetteu-myeon' intuitively captures the symbolism of Homiban-do, where the sun rises above the horizon, the joy of lifting chewy noodles, and savoring deep broth. You can taste everything from Pohang's famous noodle restaurants to representative noodles from all over the country, global noodles, and recipes from star chefs, all in one place. There are also plenty of activities for all generations, including a music festival, cooking competitions, and retro experiences.
