About the festival
Donggang Dumchit is a natural lifestyle festival held in 2026 to celebrate Youth Day in Yeongwol-gun, where Yeongwol youth and local brands gather at Donggang Dunchi. Donggang Garden offers time to read books and relax in nature, while the Youth Market features events where you can meet Yeongwol youth brands and lifestyle products. The Donggang Gourmet Club introduces food and drinks made with local ingredients and regional delicacies, and the Big Gol Radio operates a program connecting Yeongwol's radio culture and local stories through letters, interviews, and music. The festival includes participatory programs such as birdwatching, mindfulness, hula dancing, caricatures, and performances by Byeon Seon-hee, Seoul Bosa Society, So What Nola, Yojo, The Aid, Sorahn, and Jazz Forest. It is a festival that combines Yeongwol's nature, youth, culture, and food into a single day experience through the flow of reading, selecting, eating, resting, listening, and Dumchit.
