About the festival
Gochang Mooyangseong Festival is a historical and cultural festival themed around Mooyangseong, which is best preserved in Korea. The main program is the Dapseongnori, where it is said that if you walk around once, your leg ailments will heal, twice for longevity, and three times for ascension to paradise. Additionally, there are various activities such as a night Dapseongnori combined with Ganggangsullae, a street parade featuring over 1,000 residents expressing the past, present, and future, Returns 1453 which allows visitors to enjoy the interior of Gochang Eupseong while traveling back in time, and food stalls and direct sales markets utilizing local specialties from the Gochang area.
