About the festival

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Boeun Jujube Festival, a representative festival of South Korea where you can meet the premium Boeun jujube, a specialty product of Boeun, and agricultural products produced in the pristine nature all in one place. The 2025 Boeun Jujube Festival was recognized for its excellent operational performance and was selected as the best festival in Chungcheongbuk-do designated festivals for 2026, and has been recognized for its national competitiveness by being selected as the best festival for revitalizing the sale of agricultural products in Chungcheongbuk-do for three consecutive years since 2017. It is also establishing itself as a festival representing Boeun by widely promoting the history and excellent quality of Boeun jujubes that were presented to the king. During the festival period, a jujube and agricultural product sales area, an online market, and a fresh jujube order call center will be operated to support convenient purchasing of Boeun's agricultural products from anywhere in the country. In addition, various cultural and artistic performances and experience programs, including the opening and closing ceremonies, will be organized to provide visitors with abundant sights and activities, allowing tourists of all ages, from families to individuals, to enjoy the autumn atmosphere of Boeun. Along with this, through diverse programs linking agriculture, culture, and tourism, it aims to widely promote the excellence of local agricultural products, attract tourists, and revitalize the local economy, as well as operate as a representative festival that enhances the brand value of autumn tourism in Boeun.
