About the festival
The 20th Uiwang Children's Railroad Festival, the only festival in the country themed around railroads, will be held on Children's Day, May 5, 2026, at Wangsong Lake Park and the Railroad Museum in Uiwang City. This festival, celebrating its 20th anniversary, features a combination of railroad-related experience programs and cultural performances, making it a complex tourism content. Major programs include experiences with diesel locomotive and electric train driving simulators, railroad safety OX quizzes, and a train drawing contest, with a high proportion of experience-centered content aimed at children. Additionally, it is a comprehensive cultural event that includes performance programs for family visitors and celebratory performances by popular singers.
