About the festival
The 2026 Gyeonggi Ceramic Biennale is a representative domestic international ceramic culture and arts event hosted by the Korea Ceramic Foundation, taking place from September 18 to November 1, 2026, in the areas of Icheon, Yeoju, and Gwangju in Gyeonggi Province. This biennale, themed 'Earth Makes', showcases new possibilities and values of ceramics created by clay, nature, technology, and art. Various content will be operated, including international exhibitions, competitions, academic programs, international workshops, as well as a Kids Biennale, experience programs, Craft Festa, Ceramic Market, and a traveling biennale. It is also an event that promotes cultural arts festivals where local residents, domestic artists, and tourists can experience ceramic culture throughout Gyeonggi Province.
