About the festival
MAMF is the largest cultural diversity festival in South Korea, planned to help immigrants and citizens living in the country respect cultural diversity and understand each other's cultures. It is held in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, and is operated to allow various experiences and viewings of diverse cultures from around the world. It consists of a variety of programs including an opening ceremony & celebration performance, a special cultural performance by the guest country’s art troupe, a cultural diversity parade, a world music festival, a Korean immigrant song festival, and cultural experience booths from around the world, allowing visitors to directly see, feel, and enjoy world cultures over three days. The guest country in 2026 will be Uzbekistan, showcasing traditional performances by the national art troupe and special cultures.
