About the festival
The Ansan Daebu Grape Festival is a representative festival of Ansan held every September in the autumn season to promote the excellence of Daebu grapes, which grow in the rich sea breeze and fertile soil of the Seo-Coast, known for their high sugar content and strong aroma. It started in 1995 and has a long history, evolving into a sensory satisfaction festival that anyone can participate in, regardless of age. At the venue, Daebu Daba Hyanggi Theme Park, a direct market is held where fresh, high-quality grapes can be purchased at reasonable prices, excluding middle distribution margins. Additionally, the highlight of the festival is the grape stomping experience, where participants can stomp on grapes while enjoying exciting music. Furthermore, various linked events such as congratulatory performances, the Daebu Haesol-gil Walking Festival, and the Ansan Marathon, along with abundant food offerings, create memorable experiences that intoxicate and delight visitors in Daebu.
