About the festival
The 67th Korean Folk Arts Festival will be held in Pyeongchang, which is blessed with beautiful natural scenery, to elevate the value of our traditional cultural arts. The Korean Folk Arts Festival is the longest-running festival that has been ongoing since 1958, discovering regional folk items for the preservation and transmission of folk arts. By hosting the 67-year-old Korean Folk Arts Festival in Pyeongchang, the host city of the Winter Olympics, we aim to enhance Pyeongchang's brand value as a cultural tourism hub and contribute to the revitalization of the local economy. It is a festival where we can enjoy a grand celebration of our traditional folk arts culture amidst the beautiful nature of Pyeongchang.
