About the festival
The Wonju Samto Festival is a representative local festival organized to enjoy the agriculture and rural culture of Wonju with its citizens. The festival introduces excellent agricultural products produced in the region, promotes the value of agriculture, and provides a venue for participation by people of all ages through various experiences and performances. At the direct sales market for agricultural products, visitors can purchase fresh Meokgeo-ri directly, and rural experience programs are operated for family visitors. Additionally, stage events are arranged in conjunction with local art performances, providing a rich Bolgeo-ri. The Samto Festival serves as a venue for farmers and citizens to mingle and interact, playing a role in widely promoting the agricultural identity and culture of Wonju.
