About the festival
The 65th Tamra Cultural Festival is a celebration that inherits the history and cultural spirit of the ancestors who cultivated their livelihoods with the wisdom of creation and pioneering spirit in the embrace of Hallasan, and blossomed Tamra culture. It aims to reinterpret the cultural heritage and community spirit left by the ancestors from today's perspective, developing it into modern values, and widely promoting Jeju's unique culture and arts. Additionally, it seeks to create a venue where culture and sports are intertwined in connection with the sports festival, expanding into a cultural festival that the residents actively participate in and create together. Through this, it aims to achieve communication and harmony that encompasses generations and regions, explore the possibilities of future culture based on Jeju's identity, and pass on the value of Tamra culture to the next generation.
