About the festival
Geumsachamoe is a representative specialty of Yeoju City, boasting the best sweetness and quality from the clean Namhan River and high temperature differences. The 20th Geumsachamoe Festival, held in Geumsamyeon, the only region of chamoe in the metropolitan area, will take place from May 22 (Friday) to May 24 (Sunday) at Geumsan Neighborhood Park under the theme 'Immerse in the Crispness, Dive into Geumsachamoe!' Various experience events for family visitors, a golden chamoe picking experience, a surprise auction for chamoe, and a youth music festival targeting teenagers and the MZ generation will be held, providing a variety of sights and participatory activities for tourists.
