About the festival

The Taebaek Sunflower Festival is hosted and organized by the Sunflower Cultural Foundation and Guwau Village Festival Committee. As a purely privately-led festival, our foundation and Guwau Sunflower Village aim to utilize nature wisely, as there is no greater work than nature itself. We will paint the yellow of sunflowers on the canvas of the earth and add the human actions of artists to create a healthy space, a natural place, a destination you want to visit, and a unique space in the world together with you. Guwau is not just a commercial festival site that shows flowers; it is the only unique healing space in the country where weary modern people can come and enjoy complete relaxation, as well as a quiet attraction. Here in Guwau, where nature, humanity, and art achieve perfect harmony, you can experience the most peaceful rest in the world.
