About the festival
The 'Hwaseong Boat Festival', the representative festival of Hwaseong City, is the largest marine cultural festival in the metropolitan area where you can experience boarding yachts and boats. It offers a variety of marine programs to enjoy the West Sea, including sailing yachts, powerboats, a marine cable car, and performances by the Pungnyu group. There are rich attractions and activities that cross both land and sea, such as the passionate dance parade 'Wind's Envoy', spectacular performances, fireworks lighting up the night sky, tidal flat ecological experiences, catching fish with traditional traps, a large beach playground, and marine plogging.
