About the festival
The Gyeongpo Summer Festival is a representative festival held every summer at Gyeongpo Beach in Gangneung. In 2026, it will take place from July 30 to August 5, spanning seven days, featuring daily performances by new genre artists and a variety of beach programs, events, and attractions. During the day, there will be a giant lottery game and various challenge games on the sandy beach, as well as a mini game zone in the Songnim picnic area for free enjoyment. On Fridays and Saturdays, there will be a beer garden in conjunction with the Beach Beer Festival, and on Sundays and Mondays, a water gun battle program will be prepared. Every night, as the hot sun sets and the night breeze blows, themed artist performances and EDM parties will follow.
