About the festival
The Suncheon Food and Art Festival is a representative festival of Suncheon-si held every autumn, where food and art come together. Citizens, local small business owners, and artists participate together, transforming the downtown area, including Jungang-ro, Culture Street, and Nammunteo Square, into a single festival venue. The food market features unique snacks made from local ingredients, while the art market offers drawing, calligraphy, various crafting experiences, plant interiors, woodworking, fabric, and various handicrafts for sale. During the festival period, Jungang-ro is operated as a car-free street, filled with diverse street performances, exhibitions, and experience spaces, providing visitors with a variety of attractions, food options, and entertainment.
