About the festival
This year's Hongcheon River Starlight Music Beer Festival is a representative summer festival of Hongcheon, held under the theme 'Cool Music, Cold Beer!' Celebrating its 10th edition in 2026, the festival takes place around the Hongcheon River and Dosisanrim-Park Tori Forest, featuring beer, music, performances, and experience programs. A highlight of the festival is the opportunity to taste Terra draft beer produced at the Hite Jinro Gangwon Factory, the largest brewery in the country, along with beers from a craft brewery located in Hongcheon-gun. The festival also includes the World Wet Dance competition, and various stage performances and on-site events featuring EDM, rap, hip-hop, and more. The Hongcheon River Starlight Music Beer Festival has been selected as an excellent festival of Gangwonteukbyeoljachi-do for 2026-2027, representing the region's summer festivals.
