About the festival
Gangneung National Heritage Night Tour is a program selected as the 'National Heritage Representative Brand Project' by the Cultural Heritage Administration, providing various activities such as performances, experiences, and arts centered around streets rich in cultural heritage, thereby enhancing the utilization of cultural heritage and increasing preservation value through the enjoyment of its meaning and value. Gangneung City has been participating in the National Heritage Night Tour project since 2016. This year's Gangneung National Heritage Night Tour will take place mainly around Gangneung Daedohoebu Government Office, Seobu Market, and Myeongju-dong, featuring eight themed night programs (night view, night road, night history, night painting, night story, night food, night lodging, night market). Each program conveys the meaning and value of cultural heritage through unique content such as sights, food, and entertainment, providing opportunities to experience the history and culture of Gangneung.
