About the festival
Uiseong-gun is a major garlic production area that has been hosting tourism festivals linked to local agricultural products every year. From October 3 to 5, 2026, the event 'Uiseong Superfood Garlic Festival & Sky Durance Run in Uiseong' will be held in Uiseong-eup. This festival will combine food and agricultural experiences centered around Uiseong garlic with outdoor events to promote visitor influx and regional publicity simultaneously. Key operational elements include garlic-related exhibitions, tastings, and promotional booths, experiential programs themed around local food culture and agriculture, and a marathon-style running event called Sky Durance Run linked to the festival site.
