About the festival
Gwangju Jeonnam Integrated Special City Night Tour of National Heritage, centered in Dong-gu, allows visitors to experience the history of Gwangju Jeonnam Integrated Special City under the moonlight. This night-time cultural heritage theme festival connects the region's national heritage with surrounding cultural facilities, providing various historical and cultural experiences. Supported by the National Heritage Administration to promote the value of national heritage and invigorate local tourism, Dong-gu of Gwangju Jeonnam Integrated Special City has been promoting this project since 2017, marking its 10th anniversary this year. The Gwangju Jeonnam Integrated Special City National Heritage Night Tour, consisting of eight themes, offers a diverse enjoyment of Dong-gu's national heritage through night views (night scenery), night routes (historical tours), night experiences, night exhibitions, night performances, night food, night markets, and night accommodations.
