About the festival
The 2026 Yeongju Apple Festival is an autumn celebration where visitors can enjoy all five senses of the finest Yeongju apples, grown amid Yeongju’s pristine natural surroundings. This year, the festival brings the flavor and appeal of Yeongju apples to both the orchards and the city center. It takes place around Miro Park in Buseok-myeon from October 30 to November 1, with events also held at Cheonggye Plaza in Seoul from November 13 to 15. Yeongju apples are known for their high sugar content and crisp texture, thanks to the region’s wide daily temperature range and abundant sunshine. The festival features hands-on activities, displays of diverse apple varieties, and an apple market. A variety of tasting events and cultural performances are also planned. Visitors can enjoy the autumn scenery alongside Buseoksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fresh produce delivered directly from the orchards, lively performances, and events come together to create a bountiful celebration offering enjoyable memories for visitors of all ages. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience the splendid autumn scenery of Yeongju, as well as the finest Yeongju apples and a wealth of activities, right in the heart of downtown Seoul—all with your five senses.
