About the festival
The 2026 Inje Autumn Flower Festival commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of poet Park In-hwan, a representative figure of Korean modernist poetry, by creating a unique garden that blends literary sensibility with vibrant autumn flowers. One of the festival's main features is the opportunity to appreciate a variety of autumn flowers in a space that modernly reinterprets the poet's romanticism while feeling the lingering effects of literature. The festival grounds are diversely organized into themed paths. Starting with Park In-hwan's Romantic Garden and Flower Rest Area under the theme 'Wishing for Happiness', followed by the Wildflower Garden and Chrysanthemum Bonsai Exhibition under 'Wishing for Love', and the cozy waterside walking path and slow mailbox under 'Wishing for Communication', it is perfect for enjoying a leisurely autumn stroll. In the 'Wishing for Healing' area, visitors can stroll through the forest café and the author/community garden, and enjoy nature-based experiential programs such as tree climbing, tree houses, infant forests, and bookmark making. There are also plenty of food and entertainment options available, with agricultural products and chrysanthemums for sale at the Welbingjangteo, various crafting experiences, food trucks, and lively performances. Additionally, a flower path stamp tour, drawing competition, and rock-paper-scissors tournament add to the rich events, providing a perfect autumn outing. The basic admission fee is free, while some experiential programs are operated for a fee.
