About the festival
Hwaseonghaeng Palace, imbued with King Jeongjo's grand dreams and profound filial piety, boasts the most outstanding scale and formality among the many palaces across the country, and is regarded as a palace that holds beauty rivaling Gyeongbok Palace. The 2026 Hwaseonghaeng Palace Night Opening event, titled "Dalbithwadam," is themed around 'The Story of Flowers Under the Moonlight,' offering a splendid yet serene nighttime ambiance through various floral exhibition sculptures and fantastic lighting content. Walking along the flower path gently illuminated, one can feel the essence of the past, nature, and the spirit of Joseon, as if defying the passage of time.
