About the festival
The 15th Gyeongsan Daechu Festival & Nongsanmulhanma-Hall is a regional representative agricultural specialty festival held in Gyeongsan, the home of Daechu, which accounts for about 30% of the national production of Daechu. Gyeongsan Daechu, which has been a tribute to the royal court since ancient times, is a representative specialty of Gyeongsan, ripened sweetly under the sunlight. The theme is 'Royal Tribute Gyeongsan Daechu Gourmet Festa', showcasing various gourmet programs utilizing Daechu products and selling whole Daechu. Various programs are prepared, including a talk concert by poet Jang Seok-joo titled 'A Single Daechu', a 'Byeolcho' trot music concert, and a 'Teukcho' dinner show. Additionally, the festival features cultural and artistic programs such as Jungbang Nongak, Trot Madang-geuk, and the Youth Microphone Synergy Band performance, along with the Nongsanmulhanma-Hall where local agricultural specialties can be experienced.
