About the festival
The 2026 Camping Cooking Festival is a camping stay-type cooking festival co-hosted by Ilgan Sports and Edaily. It will be held for three days from June 12 to June 14, 2026, at the Pyeonghwa Nuri Camping Site in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, where camping participants from across the country will stay at camping sites and participate in cooking competitions and various experience programs. Participants will receive approval after passing the first online screening based on the cooking recipes submitted during pre-registration, and in the final cooking competition, the judging panel will evaluate the menus prepared on-site by the participating teams to select the grand prize, excellence award, merit award, and special award. The 2026 event will be held on a larger scale to celebrate the festival's 10th anniversary and will consist of a complex festival combining camping, cooking, family leisure, and outdoor experience content. In particular, promotional booths introducing local specialties and tourism content, performances, and experience programs will be operated together, making it an open festival that anyone, including camping participants and visitors, can freely observe and enjoy.
