About the festival
The Siheung Youth Donga-ri Festival is a youth participation festival designed to activate self-directed club activities among young people and expand communication and exchange between youth clubs and the local community. It is led and organized by youth engaged in various fields such as social participation, volunteering, academics, sports, dance, bands, and cultural arts, serving as a platform for them to share their talents and capabilities with the community. In particular, the Siheung Youth Donga-ri Festival is the largest youth club festival in the country, created by 584 clubs participating in the Siheung Youth Club Support Project, with about 7,800 young people involved, showcasing diverse content such as performances, experiences, exhibitions, and exchange programs. Additionally, it expands opportunities for global cultural exchange through cooperation with overseas youth and international exchange organizations, evolving into an international youth festival where various cultures and values coexist.
