About the festival
The Festival of Gwangmyeong is Gwangmyeong's representative festival that fills the streets of Gwangmyeong with music, culture, and the heat of the festival. This year, the main stage 'GM Live' will feature a total of 11 artists. On the 3rd, the unique singer-songwriter 10CM will take the stage as the headliner, joined by talented artists such as Daybreak, Jacking Kong, Asurai, and Asadal. On the 4th, the legend of Korean rock, Kim Jong-seo, will lead performances by Romantic Punch, Firefly Star Sausage Club, Shin Hyun-hee Band, Cactus, and Lua Mel, continuing the festival's excitement. Additionally, various programs such as random play dance, street karaoke, bubble shows, Kida-ri the clown, and plaster mime will be held in the street plaza created by blocking the 8-lane road, allowing all citizens to enjoy. There will also be Marvel games and mini-games prepared for visitors to enjoy the representative tourist attractions of Gwangmyeong, 'Gwangmyeong's 9 Scenic Spots', in a fun and engaging way. Furthermore, there will be a 'Citizen Parade' where Gwangmyeong citizens participate directly and a 'Ginyeomhaeng-Temple' event. Alongside this, various programs will be organized, including 'Experience Market Programs' involving diverse social economies and civic organizations in Gwangmyeong, and 'Busking Performances' by Gwangmyeong youth in the commercial district.
