About the festival
The 8th Yeoncheon Chrysanthemum Festival is hosted by Yeoncheon-gun and organized by the Yeoncheon Agricultural Technology Center, taking place in the Jeongok-ri archaeological site area as an autumn chrysanthemum festival. The theme for the 2026 festival is 'The Breath of Goguryeo, Blooming with Chrysanthemum Flowers', highlighting the history of the Jeongok-ri site.·This event connects cultural spaces and various chrysanthemum landscapes to provide visitors with attractions and experiences. The venue will feature large landscapes utilizing chrysanthemums, themed photo zones, and exhibitions using Goguryeo images.·Experience spaces will also be created. There will be experience programs that visitors can participate in directly, as well as photo-taking areas, along with spaces for promoting and selling local agricultural specialties and food.·This festival is designed as a regional tourism festival that allows diverse visitors, including families, to appreciate the autumn chrysanthemum scenery while engaging with Yeoncheon's historical culture and local agriculture. Paid visitors will receive a refund equivalent to the entrance fee in Yeoncheon Love Gift Certificates, linking festival attendance with local consumption.
