About the festival
The 'Taebaek Mountain Herb Festival' will be held from May 2 to May 4 at the Taebaek Jangseong Tantan Square (Jangseong Central Market) in Taebaek, a highland city that welcomes spring the latest in South Korea. This festival offers an opportunity to enjoy the rich flavors and aromas of Taebaek mountain herbs, which are cultivated in high-altitude areas, at affordable prices, and aims to widely promote the excellence of local specialties. During the event, various performances, food markets, competitions, and experience programs will be available, providing abundant attractions for both family tourists and local residents. In particular, the night market and flea market will operate together, allowing visitors to feel the warm atmosphere and vitality unique to Taebaek. Through this festival, Taebaek City aims to stimulate the local economy and attract tourists while promoting the charm of Taebaek mountain herbs across the country along with the late spring ambiance.
