About the festival
The 'Dong-gu Mudeung-san Inmun Festival' is a humanities and arts festival held in the Jeonnam Gwangju Integrated Special City Mudeung-san National Park Jeungsimsaji-gu area. It is a space for humanities activities where citizens can create 'their own thoughts' rather than the thoughts of others, based on the spirit of 'equality' embodied by Mudeung. Participants can take a moment to empty the noise of daily life (OFF), listen to the voices of others, and ignite new thoughts (ON), experiencing a 'cycle of thought' that expands their reasoning into the values of the times. Beyond a simple festival, it serves as a space for self-questioning and sharing thoughts with one another, allowing participants to enjoy a balance of thought and relaxation through various programs such as lectures, experiences, performances, and exhibitions amidst the nature of Mudeung-san in early summer.
