About the festival
Following the rhythm of the oldest percussion instrument 'Yogo' excavated from Iseong Fortress, a special festival unfolds that connects the history of Hanam with today and the future. This year's Hanam Iseong Fortress Cultural Festival, themed "Hanamui Yeoksa, Miraereul Dudeurida", unravels the thousand-year story held by Iseong Fortress with today's culture and a new sensibility. Connecting the historical site of Iseong Fortress with Misa Lake Park, where the daily lives of citizens breathe, it presents a living festival that allows participants to not only gaze at the heritage of the past but also see, hear, create, and enjoy together, directly experiencing the history and future of Hanam. Citizens and tourists come together to resonate with the thousand-year history.
