About the festival
The 6th Millennium Naju Moksung Cultural Festival will be held under the theme "Enjoying the Time of Naju with the Romance of Honam's Ancient Capital," reinterpreting the geographical and cultural authenticity of the millennium-old ancient capital with a modern sensibility. It will feature satirical and dramatized elements in programs that allow citizen participation, such as outdoor plays and the changing of the guard ceremony, along with various cultural contents and experiential programs. In particular, the festival will focus on Geumsung-gwan and the Seoseongmun Fortress Wall, creating a festival where the romance of the ancient capital blends with modernity, held annually since 2020.
