About the festival
The Jeonpo Coffee Festival is Busan's first coffee festival, started in 2017 to commemorate Jeonpokapegeo-ri being selected by The New York Times as a must-visit place of the year. This year, the 10th edition of the Jeonpo Coffee Festival will be held from October 17 to 18 in the Jeonpokapegeo-ri area under the theme '10 Years of Jeonpo Connected by Coffee.' It will feature coffee and dessert sales booths from the Jeonpo and Busan regions, as well as invited booths from overseas baristas from Japan and Taiwan, allowing visitors to experience a variety of coffee flavors and cultures. Additionally, there will be coffee-related programs such as hand-drip experiences, master brewing classes, and barista seminars, along with live performances, auction events, and a stamp tour, offering a diverse range of participatory programs. Visitors can enjoy a special festival where coffee, culture, people, and local commerce come together while feeling the unique alleyway charm of Jeonpo, filled with distinctive cafes and various shops.
