About the festival
From September 12 to October 5, 2026, the Flower Festa will be held at Gapyeong Jara Island. At the venue, visitors can enjoy colorful autumn flowers, and on weekends and holidays, there will be busking and performances by local artists. Experience programs such as balloon art that can be enjoyed with children, as well as booths selling local agricultural specialties and snacks, will also be operated. Of the admission fee of 7,000 won, 5,000 won will be refunded in local currency, which can be used not only at the booths within the event venue but also at restaurants and cafes in the area. Additionally, boat operations will be conducted to enjoy the beautiful riverside scenery of Bukhan River, and electric vehicles will run back and forth from the entrance of Jara Island to the vicinity of the event venue, making for a more convenient and special trip. Discount benefits at major tourist attractions and businesses will also be provided to holders of Flower Festa tickets.
