About the festival
The Muan YD Festival is a youth culture festival held by Muan County to encourage young people’s cultural participation and communication. The 6th Muan YD Festival in 2026 will take place over three days, from November 20 to 22, at Namakjungang Park in Samhyang-eup, Muan County. This year’s theme is “PLAY YD.” The festival features performances, hands-on activities, and participatory programs so young people can enjoy and take part in a variety of cultural content. It offers opportunities for young people to showcase their dreams and talents, as well as a place for them to connect and communicate. Programs are open to local young people, county residents, and visitors, expanding interest in and opportunities to participate in youth culture. The festival also promotes the youth culture of Muan, a city for young people, and the region’s many attractions, while creating a space where young people can come together and enjoy culture.
