About the festival
The Gangjin Hydrangea Road Festival is a hydrangea festival held in the area of Boeun-san V-Land in Gangjin-eup, Jeonnam Gwangju Tonghap Special City, Gangjin-gun. The festival operates around an approximately 8 km section of the hydrangea road created along the hiking trails of Goseong Temple, Geumgok Temple, and Boeun-san, utilizing hydrangeas cultivated by local flower farms in the Gangjin area. During the festival period, various activities are conducted, including viewing the hydrangea road, cultural performances, experience programs, and promotional and sales events for local agricultural specialties. The 4th Gangjin Hydrangea Road Festival will take place from June 26 to June 28 under the theme "Beautiful Hydrangea, Beautiful Gangjin," utilizing the region's natural scenery and tourism resources.
