About the festival
The 2026 Hoengseong Summer Night Festa is a night tourism outdoor complex festival held annually from June to August at Seomgang Dunchi in Hoengseong County, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. Centered around the emotional concept of 'Night Picnic', the festival's core identity lies in the seamless flow of daytime active water activities and nighttime emotional performances, set against the refreshing natural environment of Seomgang. It is a stay-type festival designed for visitors to fully enjoy their day, combining emotional spaces such as food areas, rest zones, and photo zones with cultural and artistic performances, rather than just simple performances or experience events. Organized by the Hoengseong Cultural Tourism Foundation, the festival aims to attract visitors from the metropolitan area and strengthen the nighttime tourism brand of the Hoengseong region.
