About the festival

The 2026 Daehanminguk AI Content Awards, hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by the Gyeonggi Content Agency, is an event that discovers new creative possibilities through the meeting of generative AI technology and video content, exploring the future of the content industry in the AI era. This awards ceremony will be held from October 15 to 16 at Lotte Cinema Suwon, where various AI video works submitted from both domestic and international sources will be showcased on screen. In addition to screenings, there will be diverse programs including a GV where creators can engage directly with the audience, an industry forum discussing the present and future of AI and the content industry, and an awards ceremony to select outstanding works. Moreover, beyond film screenings and specialized programs, interactive content such as a pop-up store will be prepared, allowing the audience to experience and enjoy AI content more closely. Participants will be able to see firsthand how technology expands the imagination of creators and leads to new visual languages, creating a festival of AI content where creators, industry professionals, and audiences share works, technology, and ideas in one place. Participants will have the opportunity to encounter the new possibilities of films and content created by generative AI up close.
