About the festival
The World Heritage Site Hwasun Dolmen Autumn Flower Festival, which began in 2013 as the 'Chrysanthemum Festival in the City', is Hwasun's representative autumn festival that has been newly developed by moving the chrysanthemum festival held at Namsan Park to the Hwasun Dolmen Site. The World Heritage Dolmen and the colorful autumn flowers created each year with a new theme provide a beautiful autumn landscape, and visitors can enjoy a rich variety of attractions and activities, including family participation programs that interestingly explore the history and culture of the dolmen and the Bronze Age, as well as diverse exhibitions and performances. In particular, the representative performance of Hwasun, the 'DM Concert', which incorporates 'DM' from DolMen in its name, adds to the joy of the festival, presenting a special event where the value of the World Heritage Site and the beauty of autumn flowers can be experienced together.
