From Chusa's Perspective (Jejudorip Art Museum) - An exhibition reinterpreting the aesthetics of Chusa Kim Jeong-hee from the perspective of Jeju Johyeong-Fortress, expanding the conditions of exile in the context of contemporary views on political reality and historical violence 2. Black but the Stone Rolls and Rolls (Jejudolmunhwa-Park Obaekjanggungaelreo-ri) - An exhibition exploring the intersection of nature and humanity, and the cross-cultural influences of northern civilizations through Jeju's basalt and stone culture, experiencing multidimensional temporality. 3. The Navel of the Great Grandmother (Jeju Art Platform/Art Space IAA/Gallery Remicon) - An exhibition examining Jeju's inclusivity and the strength of its multilayered life through its polytheistic (folk deity) culture, viewed through the language of art.

About the festival
The civilization that blossomed on the volcanic island of Jeju, part of the Eurasian Plate, flowed not only from the sea but also from the northern mainland. Various elements scattered and converged on Jeju, mixing and transforming to create the ecology, geography, and way of life that define Jeju today. Now in its 10th year, the 5th Jeju Biennale focuses on the unique process of Jeju's interaction with northern civilizations, scattering (Heokkeuda), gathering (Modakchida), and transforming (Iyahong). To this end, the Biennale adopts the refrain 'Iyahong' from the Iyahong Taryeong, a native folk song that flowed from the mainland to Jeju, as its theme and core concept. Through Jeju, imbued with the principles of climate and sustenance, the Jeju Biennale aims to present the survival methods and aesthetics crafted by the interplay of objects, nature, human life, and divinity.
