About the festival
'Walk Together' combines a dialect and the present continuous form 'ing', meaning to enjoy walking together along Geumnam-ro. This event aims to create a street where rest and communication blend in the city, overcoming the climate crisis in line with Gwangju's declaration of a 'Public Transport, Bicycle, and Walking City'. It will take place on the first Saturday of each month from April to November in 2026, providing an environment for citizens to walk freely, along with various experiential programs and cultural performances.
